Welcome to
Junction
Radio
Your Alternative Soundtrack. Well mine really but it may tickle your fancy somewhere along the line. Will be up and running late November.
Music is an art form, and like all art forms it covers the gamut of Human emotions as paintings, books and films etc do. Sometimes they can repulse, bring joy and make you question, laugh and smile, just like life eh?
You'll hear punk, post-punk, weirdie electronics, a bit of noise, metally stuff, Goth, industrial, reggae and dub, Garage rock oh and the occasional hit, plus a fair bit of Bristol UK stuff. Think that about covers it for now.
I have to limit the hours at present due to time constraints on my part (I work) and financially, as Junction Radio is fully licensed the more people listen the more it costs, wild. I'm going to start a Patreon and start a buy me a coffee (link will be on here) after the first month, if anyone wants to contribute or keep it going if it tickles your fancy. Who knows eventually I may be able to do this full time and quit my job? Yeah right.
And because of time the majority is just curated music with the occasional live show, with some adverts that are beyond my control (it costs more without them).
And lastly if it gets too popular and I can't afford it I'll have to stop altogether, that's hopefully where the Patreon and Buy me a coffee come in. Also sponsorship from decent and relevant businesses is a possibility, if it gets off the ground.
There's not a lot on here at the moment, will expand it over time.
Cheers, Junction Radio.
An on a shoestring bedroom production, literally.
